NEW YORK, March 2 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Monday.
The West Texas Intermediate for April delivery increased by 4.21 dollars, or 6.28 percent, to settle at 71.23 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery added 4.87 dollars, or 6.68 percent, to settle at 77.74 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. ■
