BEIRUT, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Hezbollah said on Tuesday that it launched a rocket barrage toward northern Israel in response to what it described as ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanese areas.
In a statement, the group said the strike targeted the Ma'ayan Baruch site in the Upper Galilee region, adding that the attack came after Israeli airstrikes hit dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, including Beirut's southern suburbs.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli side on the reported attack. ■
