DUBAI, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- A fire broke out at a building on Dubai's landmark Palm Jumeirah on Saturday night, with videos circulating on social media showing a dense column of black smoke rising from the top of the building.
Several loud explosions were also reported.
The fire is believed to have been caused by falling missile debris.
Explosions were heard in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and the United Arab Emirates has reportedly closed parts of its airspace. ■
