BEIJING, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted east of Kuril Islands at 2240 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 47.46 degrees north latitude and 157.33 degrees east longitude. ■
