BEIJING, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Kermadec Islands region at 1551 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 313.5 km, was initially determined to be at 31.23 degrees south latitude and 179.71 degrees west longitude. ■
