HONG KONG, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region at 11:12 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 90.2 km, was initially determined to be at 36.93 degrees north latitude and 71.61 degrees east longitude. ■
