BEIJING, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- A 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit waters near Kalimantan Island at 00:57 a.m. Monday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The quake struck at a depth of 620 km and its epicenter was monitored at 6.95 degrees north latitude and 116.20 degrees east longitude, according to the CENC. ■
