ISLAMABAD, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- A minor girl was killed, and two others were injured after an oil tanker hit a motorcycle in the southern port city of Karachi on Monday, rescue officials said.
According to Rescue 1122, the motorcycle was struck by the tanker in the Korangi district, leaving the girl dead at the scene, while two people sustained injuries.
Police said the tanker driver fled the scene after the accident, and efforts are underway to arrest him.
Rescue personnel shifted the body and the injured to a nearby hospital for further procedures and medical treatment, the rescue service added. ■
