ISTANBUL -- Türkiye and Saudi Arabia on Friday signed agreements to build solar power plants with a total investment of 2 billion U.S. dollars in central and southern Türkiye.

Signed in Istanbul in the presence of Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, the agreements pave the way for solar power projects with a total installed capacity of 2,000 megawatts in the Sivas province and the Taseli area of Karaman. (Türkiye-Saudi Arabia-Deals)

TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Friday Tehran will prepare the draft of a possible nuclear deal with the United States within two to three days.

JERUSALEM -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement on Friday that its forces, together with the Shin Bet domestic security agency and the Israel Police, arrested around 100 "wanted Palestinians" across the West Bank over the past week.

The statement said that hundreds of "counter-terrorism" operations were carried out, including the demolition of two homes of two Palestinians who were alleged to have taken part in attacks that killed an Israeli IDF officer and two civilians. (Israel-West Bank-Operation)

BEIRUT/JERUSALEM -- At least six were killed and 25 injured in Israeli airstrikes on Friday on the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, the country's National News Agency reported.
