BEIJING, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted southern Iran at 0343 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 27.36 degrees north latitude and 52.60 degrees east longitude. ■
