LIVIGNO, Italy, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- The first women's freestyle skiing aerials qualification at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics was repeatedly delayed on Tuesday due to heavy snowfall.
The competition at Livigno was originally scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m. local time. Organizers first pushed the start back to 11:15, then to 11:30 as snow continued to fall, before announcing the event would not begin before noon. ■
