TEHRAN, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said the second round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States was held in a more "constructive" atmosphere in Geneva on Tuesday compared to the previous round in Oman.
In a post on his Telegram, the Iranian minister said the two sides reached a general agreement on a number of guiding principles, which will proceed and enter into the text of a possible agreement.
"This does not mean that we can reach an agreement quickly, but at least the path has begun," said Araghchi. ■
