AMMAN, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Jordan, through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), has started manufacturing, assembling, and distributing mobile homes inside Gaza to support displaced families.
In a statement on Sunday, JHCO said the decision to carry out the project within Gaza is intended to speed up aid delivery and address the severe shortage of safe housing.
The effort is being implemented in cooperation with partners, including the Jordanian Relief Campaign, under structured frameworks aimed at ensuring quality and sustainable impact.
JHCO said the localized approach improves operational flexibility and reduces delays that often result from cross-border logistics. Donations remain open to support the shelter program and provide additional mobile homes, expanding the humanitarian response across Gaza. ■
