ULAN BATOR, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's foreign trade volume totaled 2.54 billion U.S. dollars in January 2026, with a 30.7-percent increase year-on-year, according to the National Statistics Office (NSO) on Tuesday.

During the month, exports rose 71.6 percent to 1.7 billion dollars, while imports fell 12.6 percent to 843 million dollars.

The rise in exports is attributed mainly to the increase in supply of copper, coal, unprocessed or semi-processed gold and canned meat products from Mongolia to foreign countries.

The landlocked country traded with 105 economies worldwide in the month, the office said.
