MILAN, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Italy took gold in short track speed skating mixed team relay at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics on Tuesday, while reigning champion China placed fourth.
Italy, consisting of Elisa Confortola, Arianna Fontana, Pietro Sighel and Thomas Nadalini, clocked a winning time of two minutes and 39.019 seconds.
Canada finished runner-up in 2:39.258, and Belgium took bronze in 2:39.353. ■
