With Beijing set to host the World Athletics Championships for a second time in 2027, World Athletics president Sebastian Coe expressed his high expectation for the city to deliver a world-class event.
He also noted his top expectation is that the city can deliver the Championships in front of a full stadium, which he believes is the proof point to showcase athletics as the No. 1 Olympic sport.
