KABUL, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- A three-day exhibition featuring more than 120 intricate pieces of miniature art, calligraphy, and painting by 53 Afghan female artists has opened in western Herat province, local media outlet Tolo news reported on Thursday.
The display includes meticulously crafted works that the artists have developed over weeks and months, the report noted. The participants emphasized their commitment to sustaining the nation's traditional arts, with a special emphasis on the miniature style of the celebrated 15th century Herati master, Kamaluddin Behzad. ■
