JERUSALEM, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Israel's leading media outlets quoted senior Israeli officials as saying that Israel was not involved in a series of explosions in Iran on Saturday.
An Israeli security senior official told state-owned Kan TV News that Israel was not involved in the explosions, saying that "We are monitoring, it is not ours or from us. We also do not know of an American attack, and it is not clear what the source is."
According to Israel's Channel 12 News, the Israeli security establishment believes that the explosions in Iran were likely caused by an "internal incident," as there is no known American or Israeli activity at this time.
According to Channel 13 News, "Israeli officials denied that this was an Israeli or American action, and believe that this is an internal incident."
