TASHKENT, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC), headed by Gao Xiang, a member of the CPC Central Committee and president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, visited Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan from Tuesday to Saturday.
During the visit, the delegation introduced the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee to various circles in the two countries, and held opening ceremonies for book houses dedicated to the works of General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping.
The delegation also met with Kyrgyz Parliament Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, Kyrgyz State Secretary Arslan Koichiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Sodiq Safoyev, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Rakhim Khakimov and Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Strategic Development Sardor Umurzakov.
Both countries' societies spoke highly of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, expressed their willingness to deepen exchanges of experience in governance and administration, strengthen the alignment of development strategies, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for humanity. ■
