TOKYO, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- The body of a Chinese woman was found in a mountainous area in Tsukuba, Japan's Ibaraki prefecture, on Jan. 27, Kyodo News reported Saturday, citing police sources.
The Chinese Embassy in Japan said it has urged Japanese authorities to swiftly determine the cause of death and pledged to provide necessary consular protection and assistance to the victim's family. ■
