TOKYO, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- An accident involving multiple vehicles occurred Thursday evening in central Tokyo, leaving six people injured, one of whom is believed to be unconscious, local media reported.
The accident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. local time in Akasaka in central Tokyo's Minato Ward. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported the injured to hospitals, public broadcaster NHK reported.
The Metropolitan Police Department and others are currently investigating the details of the accident. ■
