MOSCOW, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers conducted a scheduled flight over neutral waters of the Sea of Japan, the Russian Defense Ministry said Wednesday.
The bombers were escorted by Su-35S and Su-30SM fighter jets during the flight, which lasted more than 11 hours, according to the ministry.
"All flights of the Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft are conducted in strict accordance with international rules governing the use of airspace," it added. ■
