ULAN BATOR, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- A fire in northern Mongolia's Selenge province has claimed the lives of six family members, the country's National Emergency Management Agency reported Wednesday.
The fire occurred in a building on Wednesday morning, killing two parents and their four children, according to the agency.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, it added.
The number of home fires has been increasing since the start of winter, as households in the countryside light up fires to keep warm, the agency said. ■
