CHONGQING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- A male runner in Sunday's Chongqing Marathon has died after a sudden illness, local authorities told Xinhua on Tuesday.
The organizing committee said it took emergency measures after the incident and that follow-up work is underway to handle the aftermath. ■
