DHAKA, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Internet subscribers in Bangladesh have reached nearly 130 million at the end of November last year, showed the recently released data by the country's telecom regulator.
The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission data showed that of the internet subscribers, 115.27 million are mobile internet subscribers and 14.62 million are fixed broadband subscribers.
Meanwhile, the total number of mobile phone users in Bangladesh surpassed 187 million at the end of November last year.
Currently, Bangladesh has four mobile companies, three of which are foreign-backed cell phone operators. ■
