BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 50 km NNW of Barishal, Pakistan at 0621 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 36.72 degrees north latitude and 74.44 degrees east longitude. ■
