BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- China made notable progress in the work of judicial administration in 2025, with the number of administrative inspections concerning businesses down 33 percent, according to the Ministry of Justice on Monday.
Greater efforts were made to deliver higher quality and more efficient administrative reconsideration services. More than 1.11 million cases were handled, of which 90 percent were resolved substantially, the ministry said at a national judicial work conference.
Meanwhile, more than 40 million legal services of various types were provided across the country last year. Legal aid for juveniles and people engaged in new forms of employment was also improved, the ministry added.
The ministry said that judicial work in 2026 will prioritize improving and standardizing administrative law enforcement concerning businesses, addressing prominent problems found in law enforcement on a regular basis, and optimizing the administration review system. ■
