BAKU, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Azerbaijan's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.4 percent in 2025 to about 129 billion manats (around 76 billion U.S. dollars), according to preliminary data on Monday.
The country's non-oil and gas GDP reached roughly 92 billion manats, up 2.7 percent year on year, reflecting continued progress in economic diversification, according to state statistics.
GDP per capita stood at about 12,600 manats in 2025 or roughly 7,400 dollars, up 1 percent from 2024.
Investments directed to fixed capital totaled approximately 21.2 billion manats in 2025, down 5.6 percent year on year.
In the first eleven months of 2025, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover reached approximately 43.8 billion dollars, a 2.4 percent year-on-year increase. Exports in the same period totaled 22.6 billion dollars, while imports rose by 12.9 percent to 21.2 billion dollars. ■
