BANGKOK, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow on Thursday expressed concern over the United States' decision to include Thailand in a list of 75 countries facing a suspension of immigrant visa processes.
In his remarks following a meeting with U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission to Thailand, Elizabeth J. Konig, Sihasak stated that the "blanket inclusion" of Thailand alongside other nations was unjustified, damaged national dignity, and sent a "wrong signal" regarding bilateral relations. ■
