MOSCOW, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and four others were injured in a drone attack early on Wednesday in the Rostov Oblast, said regional Governor Yuri Slyusar.
The strike damaged two flats in a Rostov apartment block and shattered windows in several other units throughout the building, Slyusar said on Telegram, adding that a temporary accommodation center has been set up for residents.
All the wounded, including a four-year-old child, have been hospitalized, the governor noted.
He later said that during debris removal in the Rostov apartment building, rescuers found an unidentified man's body in one of the burned-out units.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that during the past night, 25 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft were intercepted and destroyed over the Rostov Oblast. ■
