BEIJING, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Defending champion the Zhejiang Lions and the Guangdong Southern Tigers both claimed their third straight wins on Tuesday to move into the top two spots in the Chinese Basketball Association standings.

Trailing 63-56 after three quarters, Zhejiang outscored the Xinjiang Flying Tigers 24-10 in the fourth to complete an 80-73 comeback win.

Rayjon Tucker led Zhejiang with 26 points, while Sun Minghui and Hu Jinqiu added 19 and 16 points, respectively.

Four players scored in double figures as Guangdong beat the Nanjing Monkey Kings 87-71.

Guangdong led 21-17 after the first quarter and took a nine-point lead into halftime on the way to a road win.

Edmond Sumner scored 16 points for Guangdong, with Hu Mingxuan and Jiao Boqiao adding 14 each.

"We did well on defense in the first half, holding them to 29 points, but our shooting was not good. After making some adjustments in the second half, we began to take the initiative," said Guangdong coach Du Feng after the win.

The Shanghai Sharks, which had the same record as Zhejiang and Guangdong before Tuesday's games, saw its nine-game winning streak end with a 107-97 loss to the Shenzhen Aviators.

Shenzhen guard Terquavion Smith scored a game-high 38 points after having notched 45 in the previous game. He Xining added 25.

The Beijing Ducks snapped a two-game skid with an 89-85 home win over the Jiangsu Dragons.

Beijing jumped out to a 10-2 lead, but Jiangsu answered with a 15-1 run to level the game at 38-38 at halftime.

Beijing trailed by seven points in the second half, but Eugene German scored 17 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter and Chen Ying-chun added eight straight points to help Beijing rally before the Ducks held on.

Chen finished with 14 points, with Victor Bailey and Zhang Cairen adding 12 apiece.

On Monday, China international Liao Sanning hit a 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds remaining as the Beijing Royal Fighters edged the Fujian Sturgeons 94-91. Fujian guard Zeng Lingxuan scored a career-high 33 points, making all nine of his 3-point attempts.

Elsewhere, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls handed the Sichuan Blue Whales its 14th straight loss, winning 103-68. The Tianjin Pioneers defeated the Guangzhou Loong Lions 98-93, the Shandong Heroes beat the Jilin Northeast Tigers 108-85, the Qingdao Eagles eased to an 86-70 win over the Liaoning Flying Leopards, and the Ningbo Rockets upset the Shanxi Loongs 97-84.
