GAZA, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Three Palestinians were killed in separate Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement.
According to the statement, one Palestinian was killed and another wounded when an Israeli drone struck a group of young men near the Bani Suheila area in central Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Two others were killed by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City.
Additionally, three people were seriously wounded when Israeli forces targeted a bulldozer at the entrance to the al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Eeyewitnesses reported ongoing Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, including shelling on the eastern outskirts of Gaza City, an airstrike in the northern Gaza Strip and an attack on Rafah in the south.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military on the incidents.
Since the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel came into effect on Oct. 10, 439 Palestinians have been killed, according to figures released by Gaza-based health authorities on Friday, bringing the total death toll since October 2023 to 71,409. ■
