MOSCOW, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were killed in a three-vehicle collision on the R-22 highway in the Volgograd region in Russia, TASS news agency reported Thursday.
According to the local prosecutor's office, a truck driven by a 45-year-old man veered onto the oncoming lane following a tire blowout and collided with two other vehicles at around 6:16 p.m. Moscow time (1516 GMT).
All seven victims were employees being transported in a company vehicle, it added. ■
