BEIJING, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- China will not accept any attempt to hinder its actions against secessionism or to interfere in its internal affairs by using the pretext of upholding peace across the Taiwan Strait, a defense spokesperson said Friday.
Zhang Xiaogang, spokesperson for China's Ministry of National Defense, made the response to a media query about statements from Taiwan leader Lai Ching-te and several countries including the United States, Japan, Australia and the Philippines on the recent "Justice Mission-2025" military exercises conducted by the People's Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command. ■
