BEIJING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Mid-Indian Ridge at 0416 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 42.71 degrees south latitude and 83.59 degrees east longitude. ■
