HANOI, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed after two motorcycles collided head-on on a national highway in Vietnam's northern province of Bac Ninh, local media VnExpress reported Monday.
The crash occurred at around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, according to the report. A motorcycle carrying two riders veered into the opposite lane while overtaking and struck the other motorcycle coming in the opposite direction.
One person died on the spot, while the other two were taken to a hospital and later confirmed dead. ■
