BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck the waters off Yilan County, Taiwan, at 11:05 p.m. Saturday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 24.67 degrees north latitude and 122.06 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 60 km, the center said. ■
