WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday on social media that Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to cease all shooting effective Friday evening.
"I had a very good conversation this morning with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Anutin Charnvirakul, and the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Manet, concerning the very unfortunate reawakening of their long-running War," Trump said on Truth Social, adding that both countries are ready for peace and continued trade with the United States. BRUSSELS -- The Council of the European Union (EU) on Friday decided to temporarily prohibit any transfers of immobilized assets belonging to the central bank of Russia within the bloc back to Russia, citing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

KIEV -- National security advisors of Ukraine, the United States and European countries held a video conference on Friday to discuss a peace plan to end the crisis, Ukraine's top peace negotiator Rustem Umerov said on Telegram.

ADEN, Yemen -- A new round of talks between Yemen's internationally recognized government and the Houthi group on the release of detainees began on Friday in the Omani capital, Muscat, a government official told Xinhua.
