ISTANBUL, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- A drone's-eye view of the Bosphorus shows a strip of water gleaming in the soft light of a winter morning. This famous waterway connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara and acts as a major divide between Asia and Europe. For most of its path, it flows by the hills and mosque towers of Istanbul, a city that has held it close for thousands of years.
