KABUL, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Afghan authorities have officially inaugurated a 20-bed psychiatric and neurology hospital in northern Afghanistan's Balkh province, the provincial police office announced on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the newly established unit will provide specialized treatment for people suffering from psychological or neurological conditions. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical facilities and offers round-the-clock services across several departments.
The expansion of healthcare services aims to enhance access to quality medical care for patients in need of psychological and neurological support. ■
