MOSCOW, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Five people, including three minors, were killed and two others injured in a road collision Friday in southeastern Russia's Zabaykalsky Krai, local authorities said.
The incident occurred at approximately 17:15 local time (0815 GMT) near the village of Domno-Klyuchi in the Chita District. The driver of an Istanbul-brand minibus veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a small truck loaded with firewood, causing the tragedy, local traffic police said.
All the deceased and injured were traveling in the minibus, police said in a statement, adding the two injured were taken to a medical facility.
The cause of the incident is under investigation. ■
