MADRID, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Aitana Bonmati will be out of action for around five months after having an operation on her broken left leg on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old was operated on by Dr Antoni Dalmau in Barcelona under the supervision of the FC Barcelona medical services, the club informed.
Aitana broke her leg while training with the Spain national team on Sunday ahead of Tuesday's return leg in the UEFA Nations League final against Germany.
If she does recover in the expected schedule, Aitana would be fit to play in the Champions League final on May 23rd in Oslo if her club is able to qualify again. ■
