MOSCOW, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin's special envoy for investment and economic cooperation Kirill Dmitriev on Wednesday called Bloomberg's decryption of secret talks with a U.S. envoy "fake."
Earlier on the day, Bloomberg published two transcripts of telephone conversations between Steve Witkoff, U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy, and Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, as well as between Dmitriev and Ushakov.
The text revealed that the Trump administration actively conducted secret negotiations with the Kremlin on a 28-point peace plan for Ukraine.
Bloomberg did not reveal the source of the records.
The Kremlin and Trump have confirmed that a U.S. delegation, including Witkoff and other key officials, will visit Moscow next week to discuss a possible peace plan for Ukraine. ■
