SEOUL, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Price for goods and service among South Korean suppliers rose for the second straight month on higher prices for semiconductors and the finance and insurance service, central bank data showed Friday.
The producer price index (PPI) gained 0.2 percent in October from a month earlier after climbing 0.4 percent in the previous month, according to the Bank of Korea.
Producer price for industrial products, including oil products, advanced 0.5 percent last month, after going up 0.2 percent in the prior month.
Service price was up 0.5 percent on the surge in the finance and insurance service cost, which jumped 2.9 percent. ■
