GAZA, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian woman and her child were injured by Israeli fire in southern Gaza on Wednesday, while three fishermen were arrested by Israeli naval forces off the coast of Gaza City, according to Palestinian sources.

An Israeli missile targeted a group of Palestinians attempting to return home in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, seriously injuring a Palestinian woman and her child, according to Spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza Mahmoud Basal and local eyewitnesses.

Meanwhile, Israeli naval forces intercepted several small fishing boats off the coast of Gaza City and opened fire on them before arresting three fishermen, said Zakaria Bakr, coordinator of Gaza's Fishermen's Committees.

A total of 19 Palestinian fishermen have been arrested by Israeli naval forces since the ceasefire came into effect on Oct. 10, Bakr said.

The Israeli military has not commented on those incidents.

Also on Wednesday, the Hamas-run media office in a press statement accused Israel of conducting "393 documented violations" of the ceasefire deal, whereas Mohammed Abu Afash, director of the Medical Relief Organization in Gaza, warned in a statement of a further collapsing health system in the enclave due to Israel's "continued prevention of the entry of medicines."

The ceasefire has not completely stopped Israeli attacks in Gaza, with Israeli forces continuing demolitions in areas under their control. At least 280 people have been killed since the truce began, bringing the total death toll from Israeli attacks since Oct. 7, 2023, to at least 69,513, Gaza's health authorities said Wednesday.
