MACAO, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Shandong defeated Hebei 3-2 to clinch the women's table tennis team title in the best-of-five final series at China's 15th National Games here on Wednesday night.
At Macao's Galaxy Arena, Chen Meng and Wang Xiaotong of Shandong swept Hebei pair He Zhuojia and Wang Tianyi 11-8, 11-7, 11-5 in the opening doubles match. World No. 1 Sun Yingsha of Hebei then beat Shandong's Fan Siqi 11-5, 11-9, 10-12, 11-5 to tie the series.
Although Chen beat Wang Tianyi in the third match 11-8, 11-7, 11-6, Sun took floor again to dominate Wang Xiaotong 11-2, 11-4, 11-7.

In the decisive fifth match, Hebei's He won her first two games 11-6, 11-4, but Fan bounced back to take the following three games 11-6, 11-7, 11-6 to grab the win.
Earlier in the day, Shanghai cruised past Heilongjiang 3-0 to take bronze in the same event.
The Games' men's table tennis team title will be decided on Thursday. ■
