RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Teenage striker Kadir Barria scored twice as reigning champion Botafogo recovered from two goals down to clinch a 3-2 home win over Sport Recife in Brazil's Serie A on Tuesday.

Winger Leo Pereira gave his side the lead with a clinical finish on the counterattack after Lucas Lima's through ball, and Rafael Thyere doubled the lead by heading in from Lima's corner.

Artur Guimaraes pulled a goal back when he controlled Alex Telles' cross with his chest before smashing a shot that beat goalkeeper Gabriel at his near post.

Panamanian teenager Barria leveled as he flicked a loose ball up with his knee and turned to send a volley into the top-left corner.

The 18-year-old, making just his third first-team appearance for Botafogo, completed the turnaround by combining with Danilo before lashing a right-footed shot that rebounded in off the crossbar.

The result leaves Botafogo fifth in the 20-team standings with 55 points, while Sport remains last with just two wins from 34 outings.
