DAMASCUS -- A joint Syrian-Russian military delegation on Monday toured several military points and sites in southern Syria as part of expanding cooperation between the two countries, the Syrian defense authorities said.
According to a statement from the Directorate of Media and Communications of the Syrian defense authorities, the tour aimed to review the on-the-ground situation in the southern region and assess operational conditions within the framework of ongoing coordination between the two armed forces. TRIPOLI -- Libya's eastern-based administration on Monday suspended all cooperation with the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) over a funding agreement intended to support political dialogue and strengthen civil participation across the country.

DUBAI -- The 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow opened Monday at Dubai World Central, featuring the Middle East debut of two of China's homegrown C919 aircraft.
Organizers said the five-day event, held under the theme "The Future is Here," has drawn more than 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 first-time participants.
