ISLAMABAD, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Monday launched a nationwide campaign to vaccinate children against measles, rubella and polio, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) said.
The drive, running from Nov. 17 to 29, targets 35.4 million children aged six months to five years for measles-rubella vaccines and 23.3 million children for polio drops in 90 high-risk districts, the EOC said.
Vaccination teams have been deployed to government health facilities, schools, seminaries and temporary centers. ■
