HANOI, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam has approved a strategy to accelerate the growth of cultural industries, aiming for the sector to expand by around 10 percent annually and account for 7 percent of the country's GDP by 2030, local daily Tuoi Tre reported Monday.

Under the strategy, export value from cultural industry products is expected to grow 7 percent annually, according to the report.

The strategy also calls for the development of cultural industry hubs, creative spaces, and cultural complexes nationwide, aligned with local and national branding efforts.

By 2045, Vietnam aims to build a sustainable cultural industry ecosystem contributing 9 percent of national GDP. Export growth in cultural goods and services is targeted at around 9 percent annually.
